So Many Peaches Crisp
4 Cups of sliced peaches – heaping
¼ Cup sugar
2 TBSP flour
⅛ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ Cup brown sugar
½ Cup oats
½ Cup flour
⅛ tsp baking soda
¼ Cup butter* (softened)
Mix all of the base ingredients together and pour into a 9×9 baking dish.
Mix together all of the ingredients for topping, except the butter. Once they are mixed, cut the butter into the dry ingredients using either a fork or pastry cutter. It will make a crumble. Place this over the peach mixture.
Bake at 350° for 35 – 40 minutes. The peach mixture should be boiling and the crumble on top should have a light brown hue.
*Note it is best to use stick butter to achieve the crumble-like texture of the topping. However, other butters can be used. They just create more of a soft topping. Both taste great though!
