Extraordinary ~ #Shadorma

From the dull
A spot of purple
Hidden low
Yet displayed
On this post winter landscape
Until green takes grip

The accents
Subtle loveliness
Surround us
But when found everything looks

I took a few pictures on our walk around the lake today. Probably not your usual shots (see bottom of post), but I like trying to capture the subtle things. I could have easily walked past any one of these things, but I like to find beauty in the little accents that surround us. Sometimes the photos work out, sometimes they don’t… either way I enjoy the process🙂.

The walks, the photos, they often come together to inspire me to write. Today was no different as I was moved to write this shadorma for Eugi’s Weekly Prompt – Extraordinary

I am sharing my photos with Cee’s Flower Of The Day FOTD

Did someone mention purple? If you like purple, feel free to check out my poem The Color Of Kings. 😉

Thank you for reading! And viewing my photos! Look for those subtle accents of loveliness surrounding you and have an extraordinary day!

With a grateful heart,

Welcome new friends. I'm Heather, a homeschooling mama raising three children alongside my husband. I love to walk our two dogs, photograph nature, and write poetry. As a family, we love reading together, creating art, sports and all things nature. We also enjoy sharing our learning experiences with friends and creating co-op opportunities. I enjoy writing about our homeschool adventures, as well as nature and sharing recipes. My heart is grateful for my family, our homeschool, our friends and homeschool community, as well as the nature around us. In addition to following my blog, you can find me on Facebook at Home Study from the Grateful Heart.
