Renewed Hope
Calming alpha waves
Tiny beads to bright blooms cling
Lifted is bride’s veil
Radiance slowly revealed
Brilliant arc of renewed hope

Recently, we were preparing for bad weather, as the forecast was calling for high winds, heavy rain, with the potential for tornadoes. When I awoke, on the morning of, it was only drizzling. So I decided to try to get a walk in before the sky opened up.
I was glad I did. For it was a calm, quiet morning. I was drawn to take these photos (see others below). As the day grew on, the gray parted letting the sun peak through. The promise of harsh weather was broken.
So when I saw Eugi’s Weekly Prompt – Rainbow I thought of this day and wrote away.
I am also sharing my photos with Cee’s FOTD – Flower Of The Day
Interesting note: The rhythmic sound of rain causes our brains to produce alpha waves similar to the state of the brain when sleeping. This is why we often feel so relaxed and often sleepy on rainy days.
Thank you for reading! Remember, every day is a fresh start with renewed hope.
With a grateful heart,
Heather

Looks lovely with the rain drops. 😀
